I love how life constantly demonstrates what is. Right there in front of us. No escaping it. But very often we’re not always ready to open our eyes and see it without any filters. And it’s the easiest thing to just try to turn a blind eye, choose the easy option and get on with something else. There have been big reminders in recent times to not just sit there and ‘know’ but to get up and bring it all … Continue reading
I’m loving all the conversations I have been having recently with friends who are as dedicated to digging deeper as I am. It’s so refreshing and liberating to suddenly be able to see something with eyes of truth instead of it being hidden behind a veil of self-denial. So lovely to recognise what is true and to open my heart and lovingly and gently let it all in. And all the while those ‘lies’ and stories I uphold….no, they’re not … Continue reading
Being completely honest. I find it’s a truly sweet moment when I gain deeper insight into what I had been blind to before. Suddenly being able to see something I just couldn’t see and realising the implications of it. Realising that it was there right in front of my face but invisible to me because of the veil of denial I had pulled across it. Obscuring it conveniently from view. And such a bitter-sweet moment to realise that my projection … Continue reading
It’s amazing how quickly a month passes by. So here we are once again with the submissions for our Cosmic Web monthly challenge in February. Our group has its origins on Etsy but extends to other platforms, primarily Facebook, where we have a space to share ideas and exchange information. The Cosmic Web is a group of artisans with a spiritual basis who have come together to support each other in marketing our artwork and increasing visibility for our shops. … Continue reading
A few weeks ago I was inspired to start up a new spiritually based group for artisans on the Etsy website. Together with Star Breiter, my Silk and Stars partner, we opened the group and started to put out the call for other like-minded people. – as you read through this post, click on the photos to be taken to the artists’ pages. The group has a team presence on Etsy but also a day-to-day support on Facebook and the … Continue reading
I’ve come to realise that this is my 24/7 job so to speak. Remembering who or rather what I am. In every moment. Bringing my awareness to it again and again and again. Bringing my awareness within, deep within. Connecting with the tiny spark within. Or the tiniest little bit you know the truth of in your heart as John de Ruiter says. And not only knowing it is there but completely giving myself to it. Relating to it. Dancing … Continue reading
For many years now I have worked with cards, helping others, giving guidance where asked and sharing my intuitive gifts. Today as I sit here and contemplate, I know deep in my heart that the focus is about to change. I know that what I have been given glimpses and deeper insights into needs to be shared with those I come in contact with. And this means coming off the fence more and more. It means moving away from what … Continue reading
It was thanks to Tanya Paluso today of Tribal Truth that I got the inspiration to write this blog post. Such perfect timing as everything always is. Over the past few weeks I have been working on developing a new product and was just taking things easy, moving forward step by step. I made video of my whole silk painting project, capturing every stage on film. And so now I was planning things out, getting the overview and realising that … Continue reading
I love to take lots of time out and walk and be in nature. I’m so lucky we have Oldbury Court Estate so close by, so I take many opportunities to go there. Yesterday I was there for a couple of hours, making some video and journalling. And in that space I loved how I felt very connected with nature. This video I made is sharing some thoughts I had on my walk over there. The realisation that some things … Continue reading
