We went out together as a family to an Indian restaurant in our city, one which my son had been to before and wanted to visit with us all before he left. We ordered many dishes which we shared together and passed around. We delighted in all the different tastes and enjoyed inviting each other to try out the various delicacies on our plates.
It was such a time of cameraderie. The wine was delicious, the skillful blend of spices in the food just perfect and we laughed together having fun.
We are home now. Here I am looking back fondly on the evening and writing this post with my lovely cat curled up in my lap, enjoying being cuddled. The 3 boys are upstairs gaming together on perhaps their last evening together for a long time.
There is a wonderful air of harmony in the house. A great stillness and acceptance of what is. I feel at peace. It’s beautifully liberating to be able to enjoy each moment for what it is without feeling the need to hold onto it.
Life is transient. Breathing in and breathing out again, releasing in gratitude. Only love is eternal.
Feeling the Oneness.
